O hai! I is very happy for Veterans Day. My hooman Dad was in the Army. I am very proud of him, and everybody else in the service, too. :)

We remember too Khyra ~ and we honour the brave canines hoo served (or serve) for us all. And also the horses, and canaries (used to test for gas) and all the other brave animals.
We just wish some hommans weren't so stoopid as to start wars in the ferst place, so other brave hoomans and animals had to fight in 'em.
Thank you for posting about Veterans Day - so many people think it's just another day off from work - the don't realize that so many gave so much to keep our nation free.

It's very important to remember ... we were very pleased to see Armistice Day finally being acknowledged and commerated here properly this year. For various political reasons its taken a long time for Ireland to recognise its war veterans.
