Monday Momday

Pikhs whilst I watched Mom unpakhk The Xterra

Enjoying the wonderful afternoon!
Here is the special furiend I asked Mom to dedikhate this week's transport to -

THE LUKE! The One and Only Golden Luke!!
Did I paw THE LUKE???

Yes, I did - I know some of woo have already read The Luke's news - but fur those of woo that haven't heard or met him yet, please chekhk out his post from Day 849 - some of the nasty C stuff invaded his golden throat - but his nice vet wrangled it out of there - but his nice vet said it is one of the M kind of C's but that isn't going to stop The Luke and his furry special The Mom from fighting it -

The Luke asked me Saturday evening to invoke The Power of The Paw - OVERDRIVE MODE - so Mom said she'd put the pedal to the metal and we'd kikhk into overdrive - so Mom and I thought 200 miles of Sibe Vibes - with 12 passengers spreading their Khanine Vibes throughout the Northeast would be a good start to building more furiend fur TEAM LUKE!

I wanted to say that even though we had the GR down to 15 prior to Mom hitting the road, we returned to lots of them - and since it took us some time to get all the pikhs and videos out of the flashie beastie and into the bukhket, we got behind - so we didn't khomment on all of the blogs but we did pop in!

I'll let Mom take ovFUR now

Thanks Khyra - here we are in the driveway ready to hit the road for Hagerstown for a great transport for Rotts 'n Pups!

Meet Gator - he's a Mastiff X - and as the day went by, it so showed what else was in this
shell of a body -
Actually, Moose's Momma saw some Gator pics on FB and asked if it was a Mango Pea Hybrid - spot on!
I sent some preview pics to Mango Momma Sunday afternoon and heard her SQUEEEEEE here in PA
Now meet Bear - he's a Boxer X - a special human rescued him from life on a chain - as well as bloody eyes - he had surgery for inverted eyelids prior to coming North - that's why you'll noticed some shaved areas around his eyes -
He used everything for a pillow - this was the OFFICIAL Khyra Khanine Transport Bag - but other pillows were my wrist, my forearm, my upper arm, my shoulder, etc - he was one of the nicest dogs I've transported - both he and Gator have furever homes! Bear is now a Brooklyn resident!
Their official welcome to Pawylvania
Another safe run thanks to our good luck charm!
The Xterra seat as pillow
Our arrival at The Earthlink AMP Building in Harrisburg
His first drink in The North
Gator - with purple leash too

Bear enjoying a beautiful day
Absolutely scary to see Mango and Dexter in the body of a Gator!
*
Bear checking out the OTHER Bear in the window
Stripes SO make the dog - or so I was pawed by Mango

Some of The TN Ten
More of The TN Ten
The pups were only 7 weeks old so we were not to get them out - I gave them a bit of water in Harrisburg and that was a struggle to keep them in the crates so I did not get any pics with the doors open - their Photobucket has some of the pics from the run sheets - you can see all of them much better - there are some videos of them from their Saturday travels - and some of Sunday's as well - they were QUITE vocal - and they let me know they were on board from Hagerstown to Harrisburg - I think the longest quiet moment was - ummmmm - FIVE seconds - I told their Harrisburg to Allentown driver they just HAD to be ready for a nap soon given their non-nap with me!
Bear saying TTFN prior to heading back to I81
Our customary shot of Harrisburg

On the way back, I got to stop and see Syd, Elsie, and Wilson - a chip and implanter had been sent along for Wilson - and as I pass within three minutes of their current B&B, I dropped by - of course, it gave me the chance to see them again - and yes, get more pics and videos!Syd in the sunshineElsie on the move - please excuse the blur - she's speedy! Syd's mom says she's enjoying having two playmatesWilsonSyd watching Elsie and WilsonWilsonElsie - she's doing so well - and fear not Fin, she's got several humans interested in her I was glad this shot turned out as well as I hoped it had!

Once again, it was a great day - and also showed the power of the transporters and the cooperation practiced by all - the driver I met in Hagerstown crossed paths with another transporter in Virginia - due to the amount of luggage sent along with the passengers - actually, lots of puppy food for The TN Ten fosters and some cat food for some KHATS in the Rotts 'n Pups system, it was a full load - with Gator's large crate and the two medium crates for the girls - those nice people were headed to Hagerstown as well with some black and floofy Lab X pups that you'll see in one of the videos - I didn't get any pics of them - their drivers to Harrisburg were people I've met in the past - we all smiled as we saw each other - with the imagine meeting you here look or is that the we've got to stop meeting like this one?

As I've mentioned, there are lots of pictures and videos - I usually end up keeping almost all of the pictures I take - sorry for there is always something that makes me keep them - all part of documenting these sweet pups starting their new lives - same for including the pics and vids of Syd, Elsie, and Wilson - it shows what one week of MORE safety and love has done - I mean, as I've shared in the past, Wilson was almost Boa Constrictor food - and now - well, he's got a very special future ahead of him - even as he loses his 'bits' this week!

Here is the link to the Photobucket Slideshow - and here is the link to their album with twelve videos and all the pics -

Thanks again for all the support!

Please make sure to visit The Luke and keep him (and his very special The Mom) in your thoughts!!

AND YES: RESCUES ROCK!!!

Hugz&Khysses From Khyra's Khorner

P.S. I still hear The TN Ten yapping! Be ready for those two videos!

You had a super full weekend, being an angel for all of those dogs in need.

Your story of the TN ten reminded me of K on the day that I picked her up in Virginia, drove a long way to the airport, and then flew with her. She caterwauled for the entire trip, I kid you not, even on the airplane. Thank goodness that she was cute or the other passengers might have tossed me out the window!

Thanks for being an angel to so many dogs!
