I'm sure some of you have seen some of the stories here on The Blogs, on Facebook, or the news about Brandie in Broward County Florida
If not, please take a minute to check out one of the stories I found whilst Googling for this post - here is another I sent to a friend last week since they hadn't heard about poor Brandie's dire situation
I wanted to share all of this in hopes some of you that are in the Broward County FL area could attend the rally scheduled for next week
Date: Tuesday, June 8, 2010
Time: 8:30am - 10:00am
Location: Broward Government Center Lobby,
115 South Andrews Ave. Fort Lauderdale
Description: Please join family, friends, and concerned Broward County residents in a rally to show their support for Brandie in the hopes that the Broward County Commission will modernize their Dangerous Dog ordinance and show mercy for Brandie and send her home with her family, where she belongs.
Light House Point Commissioner Chip Lamarca will be present and available to speak about the ordinance that he helped enact in Light House Point that would allow "Dangerous Dogs" a second chance and returned back to their families instead of euthanized.
The lobby of the Government Center has been reserved. Feel free to bring signs. You are welcome to bring your dog to the rally, but you will be required to stay outside of the lobby.
Please join us as the "voices" of the dogs at Broward County Animal Control's Doggy Death Row.
They are counting on us!!!
We wanted to thank El'bow, Hauwii, Sanne, and Baby Patches fur their patience! We have things to share from them but the pace of Khamp Khyra has not pawmitted us to share them 'here' yet! I've suggested to Mom we do that after Khousin Merdie leaves khamp and heads home to Mount Wolf which akhkhording to Google Maps is 8.7 miles away - I wonder how long it would take me to get there?
