Monday With Lots of M's

Some pretty blossoms to start your Monday
Whilst Mom was dumping out the pikhs from the transport
I was sitting by my Pussywillow and watching Sammy
Then I gave Mom another side of me
Sorry these are a bit fuzzy but Mom shot these throught the powder room window
Momma Robin on her nest in the flowering cherry tree
******

The residents of Jan's Funny Farm have a special posting khontest going - to celebrate the importance of pets in the lives of humans - in pawtikhular, little humans
Bakhk in September of 2005 - prior to Mom chekhking me out of the York Khounty B&B - The Doggy Nanny had a Persian Khat named Cholla. Her health was failing and it was evident it was time fur her to khross
Merdie's little humans khame ovFUR to help prepare the grave fur Angel Cholla - Mom khalled these pikhs Angels helping an Angel
One of the last pikhs Mom took of Cholla - this was Cholla thanking evFURRYone fur taking khare of her and letting her khross with dignity and without pain
Her final resting place
Part of being a responsible pet owner is knowing when it is time to let us go - Merdie's little beans were happy to help fur they understood what it meant
******
Now I'll turn this ovFUR to Mom so she khan tell woo about her Sunday passengers...

Thanks Khyra!

Yes, another great Sunday AM run from Hagerstown to Harrisburg fur The Last Resort Rescue - if you put in the names of Grady, Prince, and/or Vince, you'll see more information about themGrady was a stray in the horrible Gaston NC area - he's got a furever home now!Vinceand Prince were found together - running along the road in TNVince was a very good caretaker for allHe watched Grady much of the trip North and napped with PrinceAND he kept his eyes on me!He liked the charm too! They were never far from each otherPrince's turn to watch me!GradyVince checking out the fresh 'Pawsylvania' breezeBoth wondering what their futures hold!Vince

Here is the link to their Photobucket Album Slideshow AND here is the link to their Photobucket Album with videos! There aren't a lot of great pics - they were quite energetic and so wanting to explore - plus, the weather was overcast and misty - AND I again had the challenge of trying to snag pictures of a black dog who was often next to creme coloured one!

Grady was quite talkative as you'll hear in the videos -but I can't say I hear Prince or Vince make a sound! I was disappointed neither of them wanted to ride shotgun BUT I do believe it was because they wanted to be together AND be able to keep their eyes on Grady too! I did get plenty of kisses as we headed up I81!

We dedicated this run to our friends and furiends needing our good vibes AND in honour of Pay It Forward Day coming up this Thursday, April 29! Head over to TPH and K's Blog to read about it AND whilst you are there, Merdie would like you to read about some special Golden needs

Two other items I would like to mention briefly - please remember you'll be able to find Stella, Jo, and yes even AZ at their new blog; and here is another blog you might want to check out as well.

Once again, thanks for the support and kind words! They mean a lot to us!

We liked the pictures of mamma Robin on her nest. Mumm reallt loves Vince, because that's her husbands name. she has to say that Vince, does indeed look like a Vince.

Gus said...

Khyra....we want to know if you have a Khorner named for you because you are such a bad doggy or because you need a special place for bones?

We sure are glad your mom is helping those doggies. Tennessee is generally not a great place for dogs. Around here, if it "don't hunt" it sometimes don't ear.

You is so rite, Khyra, bout peeples letting go and letting us cross with dignity when the time comes. Too many peeples keep their furkids hanging on too long coz they cannot let go and that is cruel.

What a ovely thing your doggy nany and Merdies beans did for the lovely kitty. Doggy nanny would have been so sad, but to have that little rememberance plot is beautiful. The three transports were again so lovely. You could see the sadness in the eyes. Will they be able to stay together in their new forever home. They so obviously adore each other.. Now you have a robin nest in your tree. Mum says she is so pleased to see that. Grandma loved robins and we are always so pleased to see one. Take care .. Love GJ xx

Love the robin photo. We had snow again last night (about 6"), and as I tried to tramp through it, I thought to myself "Khyra can have all of this and TAKE IT back east!". I know that Khyra always loves snow!

Yesh, it is furry imPAWtant that humans know when to let us go to heaven. They don't realize that we won't be mad at them for what they do - we loved them during life and we will be waiting for them in death to spend eternity by their side.
