Morning from The PF Palace -

LOTS of feeding times - Mom & Dad are keeping The KidSSSS fed - sadly I realized the last of the five ended up NOT making The Band - check out Falcon Wire for lots of interesting PF Info!!!!

We left Foundry Park's  KHAT to watch The KhrossTrek -

We missed this view - and were ready to try the new foodable spot!

With Maggie's Bistro closing, Wired Chef was able to move in -

We had read about their stand/slot - just hadn't gotten there - so when a friend from high school who was SO MISSING Maggie's Cubano told me of Wired's move to Maggie's old space, we were eager to try it -

They had a giant catering job on Thursday so they didn't have any specials this week - but their menu had enough other options for us -

Trinh - The Owner - and Mel The Only Other Employee - were both so nice - and welcoming - a winning trait for us - TWO rockin' women!

Auntie Di's Sweet for later - Muffin - Chocolate - WIN!

Auntie Di went with Grilled Shrimp and Fried Rice -

A Bahn Mi for me - as some termed it - Vietnamese Hoagie - and it was incredible!!!

I  got some Won Ton soup - to go - and they have the option of pork or chicken for the won tons - I went with chicken since my hoagie was pork -

She said she didn't care about THE DROOLING -

and left me the napkin to MOP UP -

My sweet choices - Crumb Cake and Lavender Poppyseed Scone - Auntie Di admitted she'd been eyeing up the cake too so we took half to her on Saturday -

Thanks for the kitchen scrubbie Auntie Di & Khousin Emmy - it's on the window sill by the cutting board now -

Very happy with the choice - although 'installing' the legs was a challenging propostion - I wanted something I could put a cup on as I enjoyed the sofa time -

Straightened out the shade for this shot - yep - a win!

We had a pleasant Saturday - enjoyed all we got to do - 

And now I get to ask

WHERE DID OUR WEEKEND GO???

Sadly, today marks the next step in the progression of retirement from The GKP - starting to train my replacement - and one more part of making it all more real!
