We snagged this one after we staged Thursday's post - so we saved it fur today!
See - they are still around - but learning how to fly and hunt khonsumes much of their day
6/7/2012 :: Female Falcon Update
This afternoon, an adult female peregrine was observed on the ledge. The female is banded. Based upon her alphanumeric band codes, she is from the PA/NJ Turnpike Delaware River Bridge in Bucks County, PA. She was banded on May 21, 2009, by the PA Game Commission.
Both fledges are doing well, and improving their hunting skills.
Maybe they'll be able to have a wedding - akhtually, Mom snagged these shots when she got home from The GKP last Saturday but khouldn't share them since The ThinkPad was misbehaving!

One of The Red Tails - the other member of the pair was higher up in the sky riding a thermal - Mom tried to get a pikh of that but it didn't work
After work Thursday - wondering, would I get a walk - the skEYE looked skhary
I got a walk!!! The storm must have gone around us - it rained a wee bit but then we went!

Yahoo for walks. However, we really need some rain here. I'd take a storm over a walk if it meant some rain!
