Here is the dedikhation that khame along on the runsheet -

This transport is dedicated to Michael Suttles - brother to Donna Brown of Spartanburg, SC; one of our always loyal drivers on our driving teams. Michael passed away a little more than two weeks ago - yet another human victim of the evil “C” monster. Michael struggled through much pain and suffering for a very long time, but now is at peace. One of Michael's last wishes was to be able to participate in a MOVIN' ON UP!! transport, and he did just that - on January 28 of this year, when our sweet passenger sisters Dulcee, Maple, and Jezebel went MOVIN' ON UP!!, along with Sonny, our big rottie boy! Many of you on this driving team drove that transport, too, and will remember that IT was dedicated to Anne Marie Sweeney, past adoption coordinator of the Roanoke Valley SPCA, who also lost her battle with the evil "C" monster. We are so happy that Michael was able to participate on that transport. We know how much he enjoyed the experience with the pups, Donna, and his grandson, Justin Suttles. May you RIP, Michael. Thank you for helping guide this transport as three more beautiful pups make their long journey HOME to new beginnings.

And here are some khomments from The Nice Irina Lady about the passengers - and about future passengers who've already been named Faith, Hope, and Charity

Hi Everyone-My deepest gratitude to all of you once again for helping us get our doggies to their new homes and their new lives. Here is a little info about the passengers:I rescued Belinda and her siblings last year from deplorable conditions right here in Douglasville. Douglas Co. Humane Society took in the momma and found her a good home. We adopted out all the puppies except for Belinda so I figured that I would always have her. About two weeks ago I got a phone call from Brian Davis who along with his wife Trish adopted Bonnie, one of Belinda's sisters. They wanted to get a playmate for Bonnie (now Bobbie) and were inquiring about either Roxy or Juno I believe but those two babies already had homes secured. I asked if they would be interested in Belinda and oh how my heart sang when they said yes. She deserves to get more attention than I can give her and I know she will love it living with Brian and Trish. Me, I am going to be a mess on Friday night and probably on Saturday morning; it's a good thing that only Barbara will see me.Belinda can be somewhat scared of new people and new situations. I've been taking her to the dog park and she does great there with people and other dogs. It can be challenging getting her into a car though and I literally have to pick her up (she weighs about 50 lbs). She does better leaving the dog park than leaving my house. Once in the car she is an EXCELLENT passenger. Belinda will be coming up in a harness as she can back out of a martingale collar. Y'all are always wonderful with the doggies so I know you will take great care of her like you do all the others. Please do not hesitate to call me though if there are any problems or if you have any questions. Juno and Roxy...yeah, there's not much to say except that I will find out if anyone puppy naps them. They are both irresistible, sweet as can be and lovy, lovy, lovy. They give kisses freely and love to mountain climb (your shoulders being the mountain). Juno especially will see how high she can get; just don't drop her please. So, enjoy the beautiful weather we are all supposed to have this weekend and thank you once again for taking the time, energy and money to help the animals. Oh, and wait until you see the next round of cuties I just rescued...three yellow lab/golden mixes thrown out on the side of the road in a trash bag. Y'all better let Angie and Mary know if you want to drive them in a couple of weeks :-)

Belinda was akhtually a pup we did our furst home visit fur BUT those furry nice people decided they really wanted a larger dog - after all, the special girl they had lost was a MASTIFF - BTW, they've found their special girl SO as Mom babbles too much FUR A REASON! Now Belinda gets to be reunited with her sister in Locke NY! The transport actually splits in Allentown with The Nice Don Man driving some extra distance to help Belinda's new furamily meet her - they are akhtually driving the last leg of the transport to meet Don - and they've also ended up doing some extra distance

It should be a furry special day with many happy tails AND tales! The families getting Juno and Roxy are furry excited too!

Here is the link to the photo album on The Rotts 'n Pups FB page - they were shared by Saturday's drivers - we hope woo khan see them - we shared them with a furiend on Saturday and they khouldn't - paws khrossed woo khan!

So remember, woo khan make a difFURence! Although we try, we khan't save 'em all BUT the ones we khan we show and share the love we khan't give to the ones that will be waiting akhross The Rainbow Bridge!

Happy Sunday EvFURRYone!

Hugz&Khysses,

Khyra

My mom agrees with your mom on the "weeds" - we has them growing unner the fence but mom duss not pluck the ones with the purple flowahs coz she say they is too pritty to be weeds. Besides, it be the only thing she duss not make deaded with her BLACK thumb.
