Monday MOMday

Before I turn it ovFUR to Mom, I'd like to enkhourage woo to head HERE and chekhk out a pawesome aukhtion fur a special khanine pal - maybe WOO would like your own Khyra Transport!!! Of khourse, please be sure to sniff out the other great items!!!

Now, I'll let Mom take the laptop
Thanks Khyra -

It was a day of very changeable skies - actually, the day was MUCH better than the weather wheel had us prepared to experience -

Check out the plate!

Heading North

By the time I reached where I83 crosses The PA Turnpike, this was the sky

Harrisburg on the way to fetch the pups

Waiting for them to arrive

Meet the beautiful Aleera - now home furever! Actually, she's being fostered with the intent to adopt - as long as her new sibling is cool with it!

The word STUNNING was used MANY times when I described her!

As was the word SWEET for Ms Patience -

*

*

This weekend's special shotgun

Patience had come with a crate but we let Aleera use it since Patience needed to be comfy - PLUS, she wanted very much to be with someone - of course, her wish was my command!

*

*

This week's YELLOW FOR MURRAY - actually, we followed it for a while after it got on I81

Patience watched

The plate on the van? It was from OK - our sign!

The start of the REALLY changeable skies - I actually got so many sky pics - especially on the way back - we'll feature them on FrEYEday!

*

Yes, she truly was this sweet and this special!

FINALLY! I was able to frame the shot to get all THE EARS! A few of the pics in the PB are clipped left or right!

*

She did this a great deal - in fact, she really wished my lap was available!
She gave me THIS look whilst we waited at the light to turn in for The Wawa

Aleera

Patience demonstrating that virtue whilst we let Ms Aleera stretch her long long legs!

Scout and Aleera's next driver Don - Don is every transport dog's dream chauffeur!

Sweet Snowball

She was so overwhelmed by the entire experience - she didn't want to come out of her crate and I did not force the issue - I gave her several opportunities but she was content to hang out - she is HOME furever now too!!!

This little cutie - well - he was off the chart on the cuteness scale - he'll be seeing the orthopedist today -

Patience ready to roll to her next stop -

Since this leg was dedicated to Rudi - for those of you that didn't see the post about Rudi on Sunday's blog, here is the link to read about her - I thought the VA plate I saw when I came out of The Wawa after grabbing a drink and a munchy was another omen
Actually, as I was heading toward the exit for the meeting spot, the sun was coming out through the rain - I kept expecting to see Rudi's Rainbow From The Bridge - I'm pretty sure it was there - I just didn't see it!

Harrisburg again - this time as I headed back to York

Remember the shot of I83 at The PA Turnpike? Looks a bit different!

South I go

This plate is SAXY -

More proof of the skies

Mission Accomplished!

Once again, the day was made special by the joint efforts of A PATHWAY TO HOPE and THE LAST RESORT RESCUE

I suggest you visit their FACEBOOK pages so you can see pupdates on these special passengers as well as ones you've seen here in the past and will see here in the future!

As of this post, Ms Patience has not had her pups - when she got to NJ Sunday evening, they thought she might have them soon - I'll keep you updated!

Here is the Photobucket Link for the album with pictures and videos - and here is the link for just the slideshow - I do apologise for the brief dedication in the last video - the emotions got me - I think that is why I put it off until the very last moment -especially since we've received word that a close khanine pal of ours is battling serious health issues - actually, a special Golden pal - so he was in my heart and head as well -

Of course, it is time for me to remind all you what you already know -

RESCUES ROCK!!!!

Another great Xterra full of great pups. We hope they all find a wonderful forever home. That little Snowball was so cute - hope she has calmed down by now. And all the best to sweet Patience and her pups. We agree with Benny and Lily - definitely some wild animal in Ms. Allera, wolf maybe, coyote too. Something about those legs and chest.

Beautiful dogs, as always. Poor Patience... I wonder if a summer pregnancy is as hard on a dog as humans? All of my human preggers pals are moaning and groaning about the heat...

Such beautiful pics. Rudi's story made mom cry ~ but with happiness as well as sadness. Rudi's mom showed how love and patience can help heal any dog, in time.

Rescue Rocks! You Rock too.

Keeping paws crossed for Patience's pups!
Aleeya is a real stunner - absolutely gorgeous girl!!!! Paws crossed she has found her furever home!
Paws crossed for the little guy to - hope they can get his leggie all better. he won't have any problem convincing someone to give him a furever home, not with that off the charts cuteness factor going for him!

Kudos to your mom again for all she does!

Thanks for your comments for Cleo. We actually have found a wonderful lady that has been dealing with this for 20 years. She gave me lots of support and told me not to give up and we are on the right course for treatment with Steriods. Just one day at a time again. :) And yes, blogville is great for my support system and advice is amazing. Sniffs, The HoundDogs and HDM
