Saturday Khaturday

And other tailed khreatures I hope woo enjoyed my visit to Zoolatry

Resting up after all of the Khyraese Khlasswork
Khozy Khurled Khomfy
Soaking and Sponging
Still waiting fur whiteness!
I took up residence out here when Mom let me out on Thursday - it was raining - khwite steadily in fakht - I took this pose fur a while - then went into a regal rekhline - until she finally put an end to my fun and MADE ME KHOME IN! I was SOOOOOO wet! She dried me off THEN I went up to finish drying myself on the bed whilst I napped!

The evil khritter is sooooo strong
It snapped the limb of a tree up the street - or was the winds from the day befur?
Butterskhotch sunning herself in the front bed by the garage
Brofur working on his paw placement (he does look khwite yummy if woo bigify him - the sun plays off his whiskers soooo well)
He has some pawtential
She thought we didn't see her - HA!
She's even trying fur huzzy status!

Please take a look at the Photobukhket Slideshow Mom put together from our khytty cirkhus performers! Wednesday afternoon, Butterskhotch and Brofur (along with a newkhomer we haven't khwite named yet) were entertaining The Doggy Nanny, Fred, Mom and me. I had to watch from the porch whilst Mom took the flashie beast out to torture them.

Mom is a bit sad about the new guy - his right eye isn't khwite there anymore - she's not gotten khlose enough to really take a look although she did get to pet him. PLUS, I saw her pet Butterskhotch! I made her wash her paws befur I let her touch me!

The pikhs are a bit dark due to the furry khloudy khonditions but woo get the idea - plus, they aren't of me so it really doesn't matter!

PeeEssWoo: Make sure woo visit Makhk's Blog to read about the pawesome date we had!

Can we get a pawtographed copy of "Bookh of Khrya Speakh"?

Princess Eva and Brice said...

BTW- your mom is spending too much time with "them". I wouldn't be surprised to hear that she's up in the trees chatting with the tree rats.

Are you organising any pawings for your book, Khyra?

Yes, that kitty's eye does look pretty ouchy...

Frankie Furter said...

Hi Khyra, you are so tolerant of those khats. I loved the comment that mentioned... TREE RATS. I'll have to remember that one.
Hey, you should have your mom take you to State College. They have a BUNCH of snow and are expecting more today. In case she can't take you... here ** * * **** are a few * * ***** **flakes to tide you **over.

Squirrels with the strength to snap trees? That's a scary scary world!

We hope you get snow soon! Those are some strong squirrels! Butterscotch is adorable.

Wild Dingo said...

Say it isn't so! Not khats!

btw: that one with the bad eye, is a maine coone... tres expensife khats. I've had a maine coone growing up that was "feral" and eventually came inside and lived with us. was "fixed" so someone just dumped her near our "rural" home (nobody's khat, we asked)... for "khats" they are very khool. its hard to believe someone would dump an "expensive khat" like that.

KB said...

You're right, Khyra, that's one strong squirrel! I'd stay away from him.

Very cute kitty. Please don't eat him.

Anonymous said...

I too am frightened by that squirrel's apparent strength... could there be some sort of laboratory in Pawsylvania creating these mutants? Maybe you should notify Homeland Security!

Squirrels AND cats..oh my! Forgive your mom for loving ALL animals it is what makes her so special...but I too would make her wash up before petting me after! Isn't it the best thing to nap on the bed while you dry off from being out in the rain? I do that right AFTER I shake really hard and send water flying everywhere!

Ricky the Sheltie said...

Wow - that's a strong squirrel to snap a tree branch like that!

Yes, let it snow! I can't wait either!

Khyra, thanks for leaving such nice comments on my blog all the time! You are so very thoughtful!

Butterscotch is real cute. But I'm not so sure about that squirrel though.

Yes, I want an Autographed copy of Book of Khrya Speakh, too! If you sell a lot of copies you will have to do a tour and hit the bookstores, teaching people how to speak correctly. Remember Ari's Mom she went everywhere!

Bob and Betty Butterscotch are a handsome pair and the Tabby looks like he has had a rough go. Does he belong to the Butterscotch Family?

Good luck on your family expansion! Next thing you know they will be living in your house and taking over your blog on Tuesday and Thursday. Be careful!

I love your khute words very much, Khyra!
Butterskhotch and Brofur look so much alike or my mom's allergic leaky eyes fool her?
Thanks for posting the coffee mug and your happiness with the pressies from us. We love to see you enjoy the little gifts, just a small token to show our appreciation to your endless help to the needing furry friends!
Love y'all

Your Mom did a good job of taking pictures of those kitties. We got a little sadded too when we saw that kitties eye.

Whiteness? Is that like sand???? We're really furry cold here's 64 degrees. Our woofies are even cold!!

Sniffie and the Florida Furkids

Hi Khyra
I love your whoonderful book. I wonder how long it takes for your fluffliness to dry completely. My mom always squirts some waterless shampoo on me when I'm soaked.. It beats a full bath.. that's for sure.

I agree miss butterscotch has hussie potential. You are a great teacher..

Shawnee the Shepherd said...

Oh, finishing drying of the furs on the hooman's bed is the bestest. Their bedding is so floofy and absorbent.

Hey Khyra,
Are those the two members of the Khyra Kitty kat Fan Club?
Dad says to tell you that wetness and whiteness are the same thing molecularly; whiteness is just somewhat colder temperaturewise than wetness. Ifyo warm up whiteness it becomes wetness and if you freeze wetness it can become whiteness.

Twix said...

I can't believe I'm saying this but Butterscotch is a cutie! Don't tell anyone I told you that either, you will ruin my reputation!

We're looking forward to seeing you in the snow, Khrya! Sorry you haven't gotten it yet (still?) but we LOVED the kittie pics. We've never even been close to a kitty ... but we're thinking we'd like 'em. We're pretty laid back terriers, you know.
