Monday Mom and Me Day

What a difFURence a day makes
This was Saturday afternoon
Gone!
All gone!!
I mean, there were even golfers khoming by - SIGH!
Eva and Brice were wishing I khould khome bakhk and visit since they had snow much in their yard in MinnieSNOWda - it was up to Brice's tummy - and it was light and flooooofy like me!
SERIOUSLY, we do hope our furiends that have been adversely affekhted by this blast of Winter will stay safe and warm! I'm sure Remington's shipping department will be working some long hours to get it all pakhked and shipped!
I mentioned that Mom and I something special fur our Saturday WELL, meet them
Callie
Brooklyn
I was furry impressed with Callie's floof!
Getting some tail khare tips!
I was telling her it would be okay - she was safe now!
We loved her Britt spots and floof!
Mr Energy was khwite a fun one!
THESE pikhs were few and far between - he rarely stopped - in fakht, these pikhs were taken when I wanted to go out to my tree fur a bit of a khool down - plus, most times Mom framed him fur a shot, he moved! You'll see some proof of that in the Photobukhket Slideshow below!
Callie was khontent to khrash next to Mom - I made sure to keep an eye on her too
What a sleeping beaWOOty!
This one was just recharging his fun batteries - one of his driver's on Saturday had him test the integrity of a dog bed in the khrate they used fur him AND his overnight host had a barn jakhket inspekhted! He was a good pup with us - I ofFURed him toys and bones from the box but he wasn't interested in them - of khourse, he had ME to keep him entertained!
More sweet Callie
Mom took lots of these pikhs - she was so taken by Callie's serenity with us romping all around her!
All set to head to their Bed and Biskhuit - I went along to make sure they made it safely! I khalled my usual tailgunner spot - they both khrashed fur the 15-20 minute drive!
I also wanted to say HI to the nice Sibe humans that hosted this sleepovFUR fur them. We didn't get any pikhs there since it was after 7pm. I will let Mom tell the rest of the story
Thanks Khyra! We did some Britt sitting for a few hours on Saturday. Earlier in the week, the coordinator for NBRAN
wrote and asked if we could help late Saturday by watching Callie and Brooklyn for a time OR doing their overnight. Their usual B&B had plans around the time the passengers would be getting to this part of their transport for New England Brittany Rescue but could do the sleepover part later - I said SURE...we'd be glad to entertain them for a time then chauffeur them once their rooms were ready and their pillows fluffed! I picked them up at the Tom's station you often see in the transport pics - the one adjacent to Khyra's B&B/SPCA!
They were both around four years old - Callie is heading to a foster in Rhode Island; Brooklyn to New Hampshire. Once again, I have to say this was another great group of Brittanies! I think I've had at least a dozen Brittany experiences - either transporting or entertaining - my mom will always recall Brandy's time with us!

Here is the Photobucket album with six videos - since they were captured inside, they are a bit grainey due to the low light but entertaining none the less - AND here is the slideshow of pics from their time here - out takes and all!

Thanks to all that got these two from North Carolina to New England!
How Khyra spent her Saturday evening resting for bed
Britt Sitting was quite the exhausting and exciting experience!

Have a great week!

  1. We're sorry all your snow is gone already but maybe Santa will bring you lots more for Khristmas!

Callie and Brooklyn are very khute Britts! It's nice you were able to BrittSit for awhile and we bet they loved being with you. We watched your videos and it seems that Brooklyn gave you khwite the workout! His tail must have been winding him up! Callie must have been too tired to play.

  6. Surely more snow is comming very soon, right? There is talk of arctic air (I presume this is air with floof floating around in it) coming to SoFla tomorrow! Brooklyn sounds very fun- kinda like our old pal TeddyNo ;-) I saw the pics of him on FB and wondered what the black thing was but now I see it is his charger cord! The energetic ones always make us appreciate the serene visitors. It looks like you were an awesome hostess for them! Paws crossed that things work out for them from now on!

  25. I love your transports! Callie and Brooklyn....are we sure Callie isn't related to Holly!! Both four years old and those tails are identical...they even have some of the same facial features!! Love both of them and love how Khyra smells them and just gets along so well with everybody! I'm sorry about no snow...I thought for sure you would have some. We don't have anything but cold and windy conditions but the guy from the cable company who I was talking to in Chesapeake, VA. said they were getting snow and it was sticking and they hardly ever got it! Strange weather. We hope you get some soon. Thanks for the pictures..they were both so cute and Brooklyn really reminds me of a Brittany with all of that energy! Lots of love, Holly and mom

  49. Oh, gosh! Those were two Most Adorable Britts for sure! Did they talk with a funny accent? And say things like "look under the car bonnet" instead of "look under the car hood"?

Oh, and I am Most Impressed with Callie's floof. It's good you all exchanged some tail care tips. A girl's gotta keep her tail in tip top shape after all.
