Lord PF on point when we checked on The PF Palace Saturday morning -
Looks like he's prepping breakfast -
Good thing -
Hungry KidSSS -
Just after 730pm - 69 - SUNny - it was incredible on Saturday - one of those 'we could clone this one' days!
Now back to wrapping up our FrEYEday -
After picking up Auntie Di when she was done with her errand, it was off to SPICE HOUSE - it has been on 'our list' for a several months - and when a friend told me he had been there last SUNday, I KNEW where we would be going later in the week!!!
I knew we would be starting with some Samosas - they were so good - as were the sauces -
Auntie Di chose the LUCKNOW Chicken - it was coconut sauced in nature - the waitress was pointing out items on the menu - and when she suggested this one, Auntie Di had hers - she got some of the Jeera rice - she brought it after the shot -
Garlic Naan - there were four pieces nested there - it was OH SO GOOD!!!
My Chicken Biryani - the angle of the picture fails to show how HUGE the bowl was - it was Basmati rice - another OH SO GOOD -
The DOG Tax - some Naan - some Chicken - and the Egg Half from my dish -
In the steady rain - we found A DOG -
And The DOG spotted hers -
Egg was gone first!
The Naan and Chicken were close behind -
After returning Auntie Di to Khousin Emmy, it was back to The Khottage -
I had ordered some Navratna Korma to go - expecting that would be dinner - it so reminded me why I love Korma so much - peas potatoes sweet potatoes green beans cauliflower cottage cheese cubes - and my Jeera rice -
Even after eating my lunch, here was my packed to go Biryani - I've had two meals from it - with one more to go -
Some nose thought it all smelled good -
I did give her some of her favorite cabbage -
Then she was patiently waiting for some more chicken - she did get it -
Of course, every rainy damp afternoon after a full day warrants NAP -
YEP - she got one -
Mother's
Day!
We did go visit with Auntie Di and Khousin Emmy after Dawn's & Mad Radish - Willow and Emmy had combined their talents to send Auntie Di a card - and Emmy had asked me to pick up a little something for her mama - we'll share here tomorrow -
As I stated earlier, it was truly a BEAUTIFUL DAY - and The Weather Babblers are expecting a repeat today - of course, we'll be back doing The GKP WFH 'thing' - so that means we get to ask
WHERE DID OUR WEEKEND GO?
Happy SUNday AND Mother's Day EvFURRYone!
All Of Us At NAK's Khottage
Now With KhattleDOG!

So many foods that I've never eaten before. The garlic naan looks like a winner to me!
ReplyDeleteBefore you know it your next weekend will be here. Time seems to fly lately!
ReplyDeleteIt was a beautiful day here, one of several in a row. Just a tad warmer than we like. All your food looks very inviting, but Mom just can't do Indian:(
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber

ReplyDeleteLulu: "Yum, our Dada loves Indian food! And also naan! I bet it is delicious, but we wouldn't know, because he never shares."
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Happy belated Mother's Day to your mom, Willow!"
