Monday MOMday

But furst
Woo know the drill

Mom humour!

Thanks Khyra - yes, you ARE too funny!

The weather so has the Canada Goosers confused - there must have been fifty plus of them at the pond and on the green

North to Harrisburg

To head South to Hagerstown - the first of this week's YELLOW for MURRAY - actually, this one is just before where our pal Chester sends his mom off to work each day!

Say HI to Sheila everyone - of course, THIS EARWORM was in my head all weekend - and in particular on the leg to Harrisburg - after all, she's SO ready FUR the world!

She was taking in all her trip from GA to PA had to offer - quite the experience for a stray in NC who was saved by The Nice Mary Lady in Charlotte AND The Nice Irina Lady in Atlanta!

The second YELLOW for MURRAY

Of course, I had hoped she'd ride shotgun but she promptly claimed this spot in the back as hers - she did get up once enroute to Harrisburg but went right back to THERE

*

Trust me - this is the sign for PAWSylvania - note to self - be sure to give the camera time to focus next week!

Yes, more YELLOW!

Just look at that face!!!

Resting up to meet her dad in Allentown

*

Sheila in Harrisburg meeting her next driver The Nice Peggy Lady

Oh that face again!

And that cute Rotti Rear!

Enjoy a quick drink before getting back on the road - I81 and I78 here she comes!

Oh look Frankie - she was escorted by those snowkhritters!

And you can see Harrisburg this week!

The view was somewhat similar to the trek North

Another YELLOW for MURRAY!

Mission Accomplished!

With proof from Allentown as Sheila meets her dad Nick! Her mom Christy was in Tennessee but couldn't fly home quickly enough to meet her girl! She had been following the emails on Saturday and Sunday - getting more excited with each one - when she got the pics from Sheila's overnight hosts, she thanked them for doing it - I then wrote her and said just think, you'll get to do her Sunday and her Monday and her Tuesday and her Wednesday - etc! From there, we exchanged a nice string of messages - I had noticed her email address included something that looked like a date - I asked if that was her birthday - she said it was - I had to smile because it is also the birthday of a very special friend of mine -

I sent pics from the road to her - and then the Photobucket when I had it completed - she shared with the group that she had some Facetime with Sheila and Nick - she had been slopping around in her water bowl and sniffing her new HOME!

From our emails, I had learned this is not their first Rotti - Abby had gotten them hooked on the breed - sadly, she crossed from the evil bone cancer about two years ago - I shared our special CA friends' blog with her - and shared Sheila's pics with Ruby and Bart's mom - they both appreciated the beauty and handsome Rottis!

Christy said she'll share some pics when she gets home - her mom was going to pick her up at the airport as she figured Sheila had enough travelling for one weekend - so I will be sure to let Khyra post them here later in the week!

Here is this week's PHOTOBUCKET link - I'm just going to include the one to the album - if you want the slideshow, you can get it there - there are FOUR videos - with one of them containing some awesome Roachin' Rotti' action!

I would like to thank Bajas and Maddy for making the weekend a safe and special one for all!

Yep, RESCUES ROCK!

  7. Those Canadian geese are flying all around here too. We get pretty worried when we are out walking and a flock of 100 + passes overhead. We see what they produce all over our sidewalks - don't want to get hit with one of those missiles:)

We think Sheila has the best Rottie Roach ever. So good to hear about her wonderful new home.
