  3. Mom just turned on the puter about an hour ago and read the news. Also on Caryl's other sight. She just nsat and cried awhile. For Max, for her kids she has had to help too.
She finally managed to put up a post for Max with a poem for Max and Maxmom-Caryl.
Mom is sorry she was mia during the tour of Max.
The poem I put up is one of my favorites when one has to do what hurts so very bad.
    Sad licks today.

ps Mom loves Bob Dylan, and thought they were very good song choices. But she startsleaking(more like a burst pipe) if she listens very much.

  5. That was beautifully written Khyra. it breaks our hearts to see such a beautiful, adorable Dawg go, but he is no longer in pain and is free. though this thought does little to stop the tears....
we too agree with Jake and Just Harry...Bob Dylan is a really good choice.

  52. Khyra and mom
what a beautiful tribute for Max.
You always have a way to put things into our eyes so we can see them correctly. But sometimes we have so many tears we cannot see.
Your words- the songs tributes- thank you for helping us put our thoughts into words- thank you for leading us to the stars so we can speak to Max.

    "Max
    Our tears are falling.
    I hear you.
    I hear you whispering,
but I don't know what your saying.
Are you telling us to be brave
    and to celebrate life?
    How can we do this-
    when you are gone?
    I try to remember
    the words
you taught to all of us.
We all hoped for a miracle-
    but.....
    what are you saying Max?
    Help me remember
how you wanted us to carry on
    and love one another
    and not hate
    Help me to remember
    to be kind and patinet
    and not selfish.
Help us find a silver lining.
    love
