Tuesday Telling

Lounging on the patio Monday AM
Here is a pikh from my furst outside biskhuit burial of the year - this was bakhk in the middle of March - we've been wanting to share it along with these videos - VIDEO ONE which was from this time - and VIDEO TWO from the next week - but we kept running out of time and posts to inkhlude it with - plus Mom has some pikhs from the indoor lokhations - all in time!
******
After seeing the stoooooopid reason Buddy was surrendered fur, Samantha and June khommented
Just for that "tail" reason(Buddy being dumped because of his nice fluffy), we should have a "Tail-wagging Day" just fur him!
Merdie said I khould use one of her pikhs from the arkhhives we hadn't used yet!
This was from Saturday evening after dinner - we meant to inkhlude it yesterday but Mom's head was spinning from her pawesome transport - we'll keep taking pikhs of these beaWOOtiful blooms and sharing them as we khan - we know how special they are and how evfurryone likes to see them!
******
After Buddy and Nutmeg hit the highway with their next driver, Mom treated herself to some breakfast (AND KHOFFEE) at the Dunkin Donuts by Cabelas - as she left the parking lot and headed to the exit area, she saw this feathered furiend in the tree at the outer edge of the Cabela's lot
I hope woo khan bigify them to see the pawesome hawk! She thought about driving khloser but she figured he/she would fly off so she was happy with these two pikhs
******
And in keeping with the 'TALK TO THE TAIL' theme, here is a pikh of MomPF she got on Sunday - I was going to inkhlude it along with the next series of pikhs but we thought we'd save them fur 'tues-day' - we already had a full post with Nutmeg and Buddy PLUS we had lots of blogs to hop around and visit.

On the way bakhk from Hamburg, Mom made a detour by The Rachel Carson Building where the PF's nest - it is only a minute or two or three of I83 in downtown Harrisburg
The right khorner of the building is the spot
Just below the yellowish 'beaming' and on the same plane as the yellowish post - you khan even see their perch
Tree
Mom stayed fur about ten minutes hoping to see one of them fly in/out or khome out to greet their publikh but not this time
*
*
*
The building is just akhross the street from the Amtrak and bus station
More trees and scenery
Part of the old train station
This may help explain to any of woo that watch the live stream and hear all the sounds of trains and such
It also does provide challenges to the fledglings - the wires and such have khaused injuries/deaths in the past as they learn to gain khontrol of their wings
One last shot as Mom pulled bakhk out onto Market Street
And then a shot from I83 - you khan make out the building just to the left of the khonveyor set up in the middle of the pikh - it is the far right one in the string of office buildings woo see

Mom will hop off again in the khoming weeks as she returns from her transports to see if she khan spot Mom or Dad surveying the Peregrine Kingdom!

Make woo khome bakhk tomorrow fur the furst Wednesday of the month and the special pikhs - wink wink nudge nudge!

Hugz&Khysses,

Khyra & Khousin Merdie By Proxy

PeeEssWoo: Mom was happy to see woo didn't mind all the pikhs from Buddy and Nutmeg's transport - again, there are lots more in their Photobucket album along with some furry fun videos!!!

  1. Perhaps Khrya can take over for Punxsutawney Phil. It would be a lot more fun to see if she notices the shadow of her hidden biscuit while she extracts it. :)

Besides, Chester may get Phil yet!

  2. Love the Khyra tail!!...Merdie's too...Buddy and Nutmeg's first human parents don't deserve the unconditional love of any animals; we're so glad you helped those babies find a loving forever home!...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki

Good for Phyll to try to catch the PF Mum and Dad. They have a lot of activity going on.

  17. Khyra, there could be no biscuit hiding here with three sniffing snooters, they would all be found very quickly. Your hiding skills are so good.

Thanks for the tour of the PF's surroundings. And oh those trees, so beautiful.

All tails a-wagging here for Buddy!!!

  22. Muzzzer says she thinks she saw that building from the train last fall. Now we know more about WHERE the falcons are, and it is just that much more fun to read about them and watch (but not often enough) the camera.

    Thank you

  23. Khyra - does a biscuit tree grow from that biscuit you planted? Wouldn't that be the Most Wonderful thing ever?

  24. Happy Tail-Wagging Day! We are going to post ours soon.
Be careful hidding those biscuits outside, those pesky squirrels might steal them from you.

  27. Yeah for the return of biskhit hiding! Outdoors seems a bit risky but I guess you don't leave it for long huh? Those trees are the most beautiful thing I have ever seen! THey are Cherry Blossoms right? I grew up in DC and of course we had lots up there.
I love the idea of tail wagging day. Moose will participate whole heartedly!

    ReplyDelete
  28. Fabulous blossoms! We've noticed some ice ones around one including some plum trees and magnolias, but our apple and cherry trees are still holding out!

I don't have much of a tail, but I am happy to lend my woofs to the cause!

  32. Khyra, your biskhuit burials make us smile!

We think a Tail-wagging Day is a great idea! We're doing our part! We couldn't believe someone actually used a tail as an excuse like that. Those people didn't deserve Buddy. My little kitty sisfur Angel waits until mommy puts lip gloss on and then gets next to her and swishes her tail so it gets stuck in her lips and mommy doesn't even get mad. She loves us and our tails!

Too bad your mom didn't see the PFs. Maybe next time!

  39. Lovely posts, I am khatching up due to work load. So happy for Buddy and Nutmeg. What lame people, but unfortunately many dogs are surrendered for loser reasons. Why do some people even bother to get a dog!!! Beautiful spring tree pics and thanks for the Merdie moment!! xoxo
