SUNday

Day Two of khontinuing my R&D work. I had my assistant hidden away in a kitchen table seat. This way she khould keep her eyes open fur their routes down and 'round MY tree!
She noticed my hinged nekhk...and grabbed the khamera!
She zoomed in...
And then she spied it splayed out against the tree - hoping I didn't notice it!
It was time for me to get ready in the event it tried to khome DOWN...
I sekhured the base of the tree...
My assistant lokhated the devil's gray tailed rat...
I just kept looking in awe that IT would even think IT khould khome down on MY watch!
It pawsed to think what it should do...it had been going bakhk and forth between the sekhtions of the tree...even dukhking in to its khlubhouse fur a bit looking fur 'help' !
It gave up and left the tree by jumping from the top to another nearby branch...
It gave us some furry valuable khonsiderations for building my khatcher!
Have a great rest of your weekend!
I think life will soon be returning to 'normal' fur the hoooomans now the howliday season has khonkhluded. Mom surived...but I think I helped a lot AND so did all of woo!
Hugz&Khysses,
Khyra

  1. We've had a meeting and figured out the issue. Since you are restricted by not being able to roam free, you and your mom need to work as a team.

And a video of your mom trying this would be greatly appreciated.

  3. Squirrels are like that, Khyra. They are just awful, no matter how cute they are. My mom took some pictures of a squirrel in my front yard a couple of days before Christmas. You should see them. They are terrible!

  5. Hi Khyra
My name is Suzuki and we don't have any squirrels at my house. They look like fun to play with. My sister Tahlia would love them. I hope you stop by my page and say hello some time.

  8. You know, Khyra, maybe you could use some help from that Lacie Gal. I think terriers can climb trees. She could push the grey rat out and into your waiting jaws. Just a thought.

  16. You do a great job guarding the yard. We are impressed, especially since you are handicapped with that fancy necklace. Maybe you could con a neighbor kitty to herd that squirrel within range?

  17. hmm this whole jumping to another tree thing creates a whole new problem. They are wily little suckers. We still have no birds at our feeder, no squirrels either.
