Meaty Monday

Furst off, khongrats to the Arizona Khardinals...they were the slightly better bird on Sunday...my mom and my Auntie Di had decided they wouldn't be khompletely sad if the RedBirds won - given that their fans are as hungry fur a football championship as The Iggles' fans are...it was a good game - and I know it played havokh on my buddy Wally's tikhker

When Mom went to BJ's on Sunday, she saw a tray of BONES - some 1" - 1-1/2" sekhtions. I had never had them before...just the stuffed ones OR my bonesikhles.

She gave me one to start...

I enjoyed it SOOO much, I got another one later!
My mom told Princess Eva and Brice, Duke of Destrukhtion's momma what she had gotten fur me. Brice read the email over her shoulder, used his charm , and prokhured a bone fur each of them!

    Spencer and I got nice bones too yesterday. We did a good job with them just like you did. Ours was bigger than yours though!

    My mom says there is two more in the freezer too!

    Yummy! Scampi loves them raw, but I will only eat them slightly cooked, Mom doesn't know why, she says I will eat other things uncooked, I think it just tastes better, and I need Mom to work harder for me.

    Marrow bones are the best. We used to get one every day until they became hard to find AND they started charging the same price per lb. for the bones as for the meat they came from!! But we don't get to eat ours outside - we have to go in our crates with the doors locked - too much fighting over them:(

    It was a very good game that could have went either way. Mom also watched the Steeler game. One of the guys at work is a big Steeler fan so she had to root (sp) for them..

    Now that bone looks delicious and Gram made me look away from those pictures so I wouldn't get too jealous.....but I carried on so we all got rawhide chewies tonight...thanks ta ya !!!
