Khyra's Mom here - time for another installment of Musikh Monday.
This one was soooo easy - for someone of my generation, it has to be Carole King Not only did I all but wear out my Tapestry album , Carole is responsible for soooooo many songs my generation grew up with and khontinues to tie to memory after memory - some good, some bad!
PLUS, I have to inkhlude another C - Carly Simon with this song being one I khan't get enough of !
There is akhtually a kind of khool bond between the two - for years, Carly was married to James Taylor who had a hit with another one of my memory songs -You've Got A Friend - which Carole wrote.
SO, now to a khurrent C - please chekhk out Christine LeDoux

WOO WOO - That sounds like lovely Music. Our Mom lets us listen to Country while she is gone to work but we like it better when she leaves the TV on so we can watch Animal Planet from our crate Houses. I think that Country Singing gets old!

Ah my HuMom loves all the old "C" artiste your HuMom posted! And she really like the new "C" artist too -"Christine". The song on her site "sweet Patty". My HuMom's name kennel name is Patty so she really loved hearing her name in a song.

My mom loves Carole King and Carly Simon! She asks if you have seen the movie LITTLE BLACK BOOK with Britny Murphy? It has Carly Simon's music all through it and she even shows up at the end. We get everything off iTunes these days to make our own CDs of greatest hits. Haven't heard of Chritine Ledoux, will listen and see.

ReplyDeleteMy human K loves to sing "You're So Vain" and "Nobody Does It Better" from some James Bond guy's movie "The Spy Who Loved Me." Is there a dog in that movie? I think K's singing is more obnoxious than my howling.
