Breakfast time!
Party Central!
Approaching 7pm 59 partly cloudy - it rained off and on AND on and off most of the day -
Now to Harrisburg for MY 'venture - and those clouds should give a hint as to why our Northern Light experience is a NON event -
A full and busy day for all at Wolf Brewing - I'm always thrilled to see it!
May HOWL - here I am!
I had barely sat down when Ryan The Bar Manager brought me a taste of the BlueberryPieSorbet - one of the brews added as part of their THIRD anniversary!
My Flight For A Cause -
And my tasty Chicken Spaetzle Soup!
I made Mojito Blonde my single beer -
AND I got to have a SMALL WORLD EXPERIENCE - there were two women sitting at the table near me - at one point one of them came over to ask if I was Phyllis - as she had a Wolf Brewing check in of mine on her phone - it was a LONG TIME Sibe friend - Joni Youse - she had been mom to Dakota - we had last met and seen each other when we went to Siberian - or Malamute - Nationals in Gettysburg back in 2006 or 2007 or so - she and her daughter were in Harrisburg for a weekend of no firm plans - and after always seeing my check ins, thought Wolf Brewing would be a good Saturday afternoon choice - and they did enjoy their experience!
And because - yep - a stop at Rakestraw's on the way back into Mechanicsburg -
Chocolate Peanut Butter!
I was slow to get the phone pointed in their direction but I caught a Sheltie and Mom strolling -
Rakestraw's have started selling bags of their broken cone/cone bowl pieces -
And another because - Massimo's!
This time I made sure to capture the cookie biscotti collection -
On the way back, traffic crept and crawled - for a mile or two - there had been a fender bender - they were off the road but we still had to merge our two lanes into one - and I did get to SMH at the drivers who just HAD to try and get in our lane even though they could see it wasn't going to get them anywhere -
My Mother's Day gift to me for the week - two lobster tails - one with strawberries - one with the other fruits - Red Velvet Khake - and a raspberry tart 😀
And how Willow spent Saturday evening whilst I did the laundry -
We'll finish her Saturday 'venture story here tomorrow!
Happy Monday EvFURRYone!

ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, I can't blame those little birds, meal times are just about the most exciting times here too! Even more so than time for walkies, although that comes close!"
ReplyDeleteLulu: "Ayyy, traffic! Our Dada says he feels your pain!"
Mom says you can have the brews and she will enjoy the soup and ice cream, and for sure some of those desserts:)
ReplyDeleteNice meetup with an old friend.
