Monday MOMday

Finally, I khan stretch out without THAT certain khamper around - I'm so khatching up on my naps - woo have NO idea how much energy I expended during this latest session of khamp! I'm going to try to rest up so I khan tell woo about it tomorrow!

In the meantime, I'm turning this ovFUR to Mom!
Thanks Khyra!

What a great day for a transport!

This truck passed us along I81 - and then we ended up behind it as we waited for the light at the McD's - of course, I had to get some pics!

And the plate too!

I had hoped we would encounter The Last Resort's transport and we did! That is Spotty - he was awesome - and HOME now!

Then we got to see the trio of SQUEEES in the back of Courtney's Toyota

More Spotty

Diane fell for Claire - the female of the trio

I fell for Carlisle

And Conan made a point to let us know he heard what we were saying about his ears!

*

*

Claire clung to Diane

Ahhhhhhh!

Okay - I hear all of you out there!

*

Now time to meet our passengers - Java and Meeko

*

*

One state closer!

She knew THE look quite well!

She liked the towels - but we diverted her attention by tossing her the Xterra football

Both of them were very interested in Meeko's bag of food!

*

He knew THE look too!

Practicing kisses for his new family in Connect The Dots!

She's ready for her reunion with Grizzly - although she knew him as Mocha! She's going to be fostered with him - the so called people that had wanted to adopt her changed their minds at 4:15 Friday afternoon - grrrrrrrrrrr - but Grizzly's humans were kind enough to let her stay on the transport and make the trek North with Meeko!

*

This was just before they started playing AGAIN!

Meeko decided to show Diane he knew how to be a lap puppy too!

Then Java said HEY there's always room for one more!

Saying hi to The Xterra Sibe

Look at what passed us - waving and smiling as they did!

They were fantastic passengers - all three of them!

Smiling a THANK YOU to Mary for fostering him and for pawmitting him to go when THE family found him!

With khrossed paws of thanks!

Thinking how furry lucky he is -

Java too!

*

Getting sleepy and ready for the trip to The Wawa in Allentown!

Ready

Set! Let's Go!

We couldn't pass up this plate!

A few miles later we saw this VA one!

This week's Harrisburg shot

Heading back towards the creek and then home

For another MISSION ACCOMPLISHED picture!

What a special day - it was so nice to see all these cuties AND to have Diane share in the moments!

Khyra and I dedicated the run to her! We are glad Abby is sharing her mom with us for the week!

The first group of passengers we saw were being transported for The Last Resort Rescue and ours came North thanks to Rotts 'n Pups

Here is the Photobucket link for the pics and the videos - I will warn you - there are LOTS of pictures - having another pair of human paws along with such cuties so made for LOTS of shots - plus, Mary sent along her pics from Saturday - once I dried her tears from the email, I added them to the album - she had fostered him for several months so it was a bittersweet transport to coordinate!

As I was putting the finishing touches on everything, Mary sent along pics from some of their other chauffeurs SO I added them as well! We even have pictures of Meeko and his new family - AND Java's reunion with her brother MochaGrizzly!

Here is the link with just the pictures - of course, you just never know what you might see in the slideshow or in the one video shot from the road!

SO - again - ready?

RESCUES ROCK!!!!!!

Hugz&Khysses From Everyone At Khyra's Khorner!

P.S. Khyra will return tomorrow with some tales from khamp!

  21. It is so great that you do the transports. My mom wishes she had the time to do them. Maybe in a few years after retirement.

  29. A carload of joy for some very lucky forever families out there! And wow, one of your passengers had a certain White Dog look about him! Did you have the honor of transporting a fellow Eskie to his second chance? As always...thank you for making a difference.
