Walkin' Wednesday 2011

But furst a report about The Banding!!!He
Him again

Watching Mom or Dad

Taking a khloser look

He's wondering how much longer

Yes, woo read khorrekhtly - HE - and what a Drama Khween he was - the banding broadkhast was khwite interesting - I bet there are some adults with hoarse voices today after having had to yell over his vokhalisations - he was one noisy bird!

Mom says she'll keep her eye open fur the link on the website to the webkhast - and she'll also warn all of his mighty voice - since there was only one chikhk needing to be banded, Mom had wondered how the remainder of the presentation would be filled - WELL, they brought in a special guest Peregrine Falcon named MURRAY from ZooAmerica - his handler took khwestions from The Beans there - Murray was a retired Falconer's bird from IL - ZooAmerica had him in their breeding programme - and now he visits skhhools and skhouts and such!

Now fur the walkin' part of the post - from Monday

Our week to this point has been furry much like this - this was the view to The West

Whilst Mom just had to point the flashie beastie to The East to see this

Of khourse, this is the reason I make Mom go fur so many walks - I so don't want to look like

THIS and have to khonfine my pantyloons like a certain Beastie From DaBurgh does

Although this week's humidity has really left my FT out of khontrol!

Here is this week's Walkin' Wednesday video - with shokhking scenes not to be missed!

Have a great Wednesday - I hope woo get some walks of your furry own!

SERIOUS TIME HERE - Tuesday evening Butchy posted the findings from his visit to the vet - Mom and I are still numb about it - please stop by and show some love and support - after what his furamily went through with now Angel Snickers - and with one his mom battles on a daily basis, his news is just wrong - I've already pawed Gussie that he khan khount The Xterra in fur a transport

Hugz&Khysses,

Khyra

  4. hey Khyra,

Your mom takes such pawsome nature shots! Just beautiful!

My human is pretty upset she missed the banding. She can't believe it slipped her mind. :-< Hoping your mom can find a video of the event.

Your fluffy tail looks pawsome in the humidity! It brings it to full bloom! And very smart of you to stay in shape. Walkies are the best for that!

p.s. So so sad about Butchy. We pawed some words of hope and love. Thank you for letting us know.

  17. We watched the banding long enough to find out it was a HE, but the the cacophony of noise he emitted was just too much.He sure did have a lot to say!

We are all in different stages of blowing here. TD has barely begun, Mom keeps waiting for the blizzard. Ciara is almost done (we think), and Phantom is about midway. This gives the Momster a longer plucking season to satisfy her pluckaholism.

    Bautiful irises!!!

  37. Oh boy, you are going to be in big trouble when Beastie sees that. Funny, because momma says the reason my bottom is so skinny is from NOT walking enough. Go figure.

  41. Oh Khyra...that is so the CUTEST BUM you've ever pictured on your blog!!!

(Lacie covers her mouth to giggle wildly....)

You are so jealous of my firm South End. And my tail never looses its floof...course it never had any to start with....

As for those big black clouds...BLAME IT ON US...are you getting the storms now? Mumsie left for work this morning and noted a hooge tree had just fallen on the main road...the roots are unstable and our hillsides are caving in...yeesch.

Kisses, dear girl. I've signed you up for a Limber Lacie Fitness Class. We start with a smoothie...helps...
