Monday MOMday

Sunday Morning
About 7:30 or so - it wasn't akhtually that dark - but that is how the flashie beastie khaptured it so we're sharing them anyway!
One shot from my Sunday AM photoshoot - of khourse, woo will see more later this week AND some special guests that dropped by Sunday afternoon!
Now to turn this ovFUR to Mom
Thanks Khyra
Ah yes - the forever famous York County SPCA!
And the famous ES3 Workplace!
Some shots of the Hagerstown airport for Fiona and Abby's Human - she recalls her days of dropping in there whilst she was in school in Mercersburg PA a few years ago
Exit here if heading South
Take a look at THOSE ears!
All the better to hear you with she said!
She was hoping for her own trip through the drive-thru!
Shortly after I had parked at McD's, one of my first transport pals Edith pulled up with a RAV4 full of cuteness for The Last Resort Rescue - I'll be driving for them NEXT weekend!

See?
Showing some tongue!
Ha - who writes her material?

Pics and videos are in the Photobucket for my leg from Hagerstown to Harrisburg - we also encountered the driver for A Pathway to Hope's transport but we didn't get to see their passengers - I departed for Harrisburg well in advance of their arrival - their run was about an hour behind ours timewise Springer was a GORGEOUS Rotti girl!Another state closer to her furever home in NJ!Although Babs, Brooke, and Jethro came with crates, I let them enjoy the comfort of The Xterra and each other - Springer helped driveShe was a bit anxious about the travelling - and had gotten carsick for a few of her Saturday drivers BUT I was only gifted with LOTS of sudsI'm sure Mango will be QUITE proud of her efforts!Just North of Chambersburg we encountered this one - and I had missed an opportunity to snap a shot of one that said LUV2NAP!This was how they were almost the entire 75miles! They were spread just far enough apart I couldn't get all three in the same shot - but you can see bits of 'em!It was kind of special in that Babs and Brooke had been in GA - and Jethro had been fostered in WV - so they were reunited on Sunday and made their journey together - the drivers that met up for Jethro to join the transport said there was no doubt they remembered each other! Babs and Brooke were so neatly brindled with white socks!Jethro was such a good male influence on the four of us!Can you feel the love?More puppy piling on with NO penalties!Springer needed to be helped out of the vehicle - I think she wanted to call Shotgun for the next leg!Getting this trio out required some juggling - actually, Brooke wanted to wait until the next driver arrived - she was content to sit until I had a free hand since Don was nice enough to take the others! The Harrisburg shot - although there are a few more in the Photobucket Mission Accomplished once again!

What a great day for soooooo many pups and peoples! Babs, Jethro and Springer are all sleeping in their furever homes in NJ - Brooke will continue her trek on to Master Chew Sits - I wonder if she'll meet Mango?

Springer's Mom had been watching Rotts 'n Pups FB page all weekend - and just couldn't wait to smooch her girl! I know I enjoyed having her next to me for our trip - she tucked herself onto The Xterra front seat quite nicely - and a few times entertained rolling over so she could use my right thigh and the console for her pillow - she was quite at ease and calmed by the great vibes from all the past Xterra passengers!

We did the leg in honour and memory of our family and friends now residing North of The Rainbow Bridge - each soltice and equinox, the members of SiberNet all light a candle at 8pm in their time zone to send a message to our Siberians that are waiting for us - and for the ones we haven't had the pleasure of meeting yet - as I put this post together, Spring has just officially sprung here in the East - and I will be lighting our candle soon

Here is the link to this weekend's Photobucket Album with LOTS of pics and eleven videos AND here is the link to just the slideshow which included pics sent from the other drivers and even their overnight host in the Roanoke area - please be sure to check out their handsome host Merlin The Blue Merle Collie!

Once again, we have so much proof RESCUES ROCK!

Hugz&Khysses From Khyra's Khorner

BTW, Jethro and Springer have a message for allAll's well that ENDS well! The End!

  9. well, if those doggies were riding with the Teka Toy, they would not be riding shotgun. It requires concerted effort to get any time in the front seat, regardless of who else is in the car!
