FrEYEday SkEYEday Free Fur All

Welkhome to Okhtober - BUT furst off, please khross your paws and visit TUCKER THE WANDERING WARRIOR'S BLOG - he's had some rough days and his mom would like us to think good things fur him - I have updated the link to reflekht the post his mom did fur today
(AND SADLY WE'VE JUST UPDATED IT AGAIN SINCE HE HAS LEFT US - PLEASE SEE POST ABOVE)
Going to rest up fur the fun that hops my way
The khomfy look
From earlier in the week - we saved them to share
in hopes they'd brighten up evfurryone's day
High Biskhuits Season is drawing to a khlose
Same fur the froggies - they'll have to seek refuge in the garage in the khoming months
The Bear Furamily - Mom will try to remember to snag a better shot of them - she passes them each time she takes the Eastern route out of here - they are akhtually only a half mile or so away - and she often says 'I should take a pikh of them fur the blog' and then - well, woo know humans!
I wonder if this would khwalify fur Sally's Sleeping BeaWOOty khontest? Akhtually, we passed poor M.Skhwirrel on Tuesday's 2nd walk - and then again on Wednesday - it was still in this same undisturbed slumbering pose so Mom - well, woo know humans
Mr Khardinal must have told a flokhk of furiends about the tasty yew bushes fur we had khwite the pakhk of ravenging Bluebirds on Wednesday

They've been hanging around in the streets on the edge of the property - and chillin' on the utility wires - Mom khouldn't khwite snag any pikhs fur they always moved as she headed to that portion of the yard - so she was thrilled when they khame to enjoy some berries Wednesday afternoon

Tuesday evening's sky - kind of khool - I think the sky has its eye on US - and here is the link to this week's Photobukhket slideshow of sky and stuff -

Have a great FrEYEday!

Please khome by tomorrow fur our LIVESTRONG posting - we are in - and hope we khan get the nasty C OUT of evFURRYone's lives -

  7. Hi Khyra, we will go visit your friend Tucker.
You looked pretty relaxed there! The flowers are just beautiful - love the colour - what a pity they have to come to an end!
We also felt rather sad about Mr Squirrel who looks as though he is now in the land of the eternal sleep!
We would love to see more pics of the bear family - they looked pretty amazing.
We will be sure to drop by tomorrow for your Livestrong edition!

  23. Khyra, I love your kfotos of the birds. I haven't seen any birds for several days. (There was that one hummingbird who ran into the window and knocked himself out.)
P.S. None of my squirrels look like that one. I never knew they ever stopped climbing trees. Uh-oh!

  29. We will go visit Tucker to pay our respects. I love your pictures. That squirrel did look like he was sleeping, maybe he was playing statue maker and his friend never came back to finish the game.

  30. I am very much sorry to hear about your furend, Tucker. What a handsome boy he was.

I think maybe M. Squirrel was trying to lure you by laying so still. And then when you got close, he was gonna jump up and whack you in the knee like what happened with Tank! Whew! I'm glad you steered clear of his espionage!

  31. Oh goodness, we are sorry to read about Tucker. It is hard when we pass, humans just have a rough time without us.

We actually feel sorry for the squirrel too. We bet he would have liked to cross over while resting amongst all his goodies gathered for the Winter.

    Lovely flowers and lovely you!

    ReplyDelete
  32. Hello again Khyra! You know, we have 'real' frogs that live by our porch under some rocks--I wonder if they'll stay there all winter?

  34. Good thing Flash was not there, that squirrel would have been in his chompers like right now, dead or alive. Sometimes Dad is too slow to see things and Flash is to quick.

    I would get him too.
