Tuesday Telling

Nap time
Khloser look
Saturday morning's fun
Brofur decided to watch from his skhwirrel blind
Which also doubles as a birdbath
We're not sure if the evil khritter realised he had some khat eyes on him
Or just didn't khare
Brofur stayed fixed on his prey
But at one point I barked out some words of support
And Brofur took off and the evil one took up a new pawsition in the tree

We are bummed: Merdie and her dad are staying at their house this week. Unkhle Paul seems to think he's able to handle being by himself. The Doggy Nanny wasn't too please with his decision AND I told Merdie evfurryone would miss getting to read about our adventures!

Oh well, hoomans khan be a challenging breed!

Hugz&Khysses,

Khyra

  15. Mom loves to see pictures of you because you remind her so much of Dad's first dog, Sheba, who was a husky mix. She looked just like a husky, but was a bit smaller... Maybe 15 lbs. smaller than a normal husky size, and one of the smartest dogs she's known!

CATS!!! How COULD he let that squirrel just mock him like that!!!

We are so glad that you uncle is feeling well enough to try to go home even though we know you miss him and Merdie. We will miss seeing her too! At least they know they can count on you and your Mom if they do need a little more help. OC

  17. Khats can be so much more patient than us. We just blindly charge.

Uncle Paul sounds a little like Sibs - a little stubborn and independent. Our hu-dad understands from his own back surgery recovery a few years ago.

  18. In my experience, some people make impatient patients and think they are more better than they are. I hope that Merdie keeps close watch on your Uncle.

  25. Hi Khyra, I think Brofur needs to get one of those scary Howloweener masks that are on sale now. That might make the squirrel move to another state. Just not OHIO, ok??
I will really really miss Merdie. Maybe she can get a blog of her own???? Hint Hint

  26. Brofur fit right in with those leaves - I could barely see him. The squirrel was almost as big as him! Great sequence of photos!

I bet that Uncle Paulie is ready to be by himself. And, it'll be good for him to feel self-sufficient. I wouldn't mention my ramblings about fusions to him yet - maybe later when he's starting to feel good. That's when it becomes important to be super aware of the rest of your back.

  27. We hope Unkle Paul and Merdie are doin' good this week. Did you offer to cook lunch if they stayed with you? They might like sqrrrrl stew.

  47. Those squirrels are a brazen bunch! They think they got it made just cuz they can scoot up a tree real fast. One of these days though, I'm gonna get me one if I have to grease the tree with well, grease.

Glad your Uncle Paul is well enough to go home-and I hope it goes well for him.

I would say that the squirrel was pretty not too smart to be so close to you. I hope that he didn't tease you after he took the chicken way and ran up a tree. They sometimes like to tease.

  59. Sorry Merdie and Uncle Paul went home. Guess you'll miss them. Course, they'll probably miss you too.

  67. Uncle paul is being selfish. doesn't he reaklize the merdie is a celebrity to be share with her public. Afterall, she is one of that special breed of dogs, the name slips our mind, that is perhaps the most intelligent, talented and beautiful in the world. No, it isn't the Carrie Underwood breed, but it is two words. It'll come to us.
