Saturday Khaturday

Resting up from my busy week!
Nurse Merdie
Sleepie Merdie
Brofur eyeing up the skhwirrel
They played a game of 'round the tree
Then Butterskhotch khame to eye up the bird feeder
Taking note of her options
Up!
Her cheering skhwad
I'll help woo Butterskhotch
Merdie watching too
Butterskhotch resumed her watch
Then she took up residence on the windowsill
She wouldn't smile fur the flashie beastie
Then NewbieOneEye made an appearance too!

Merdie and I watched Unkhle Paul get his stitches out! He was furry brave! Mom says it is khwite inkhredible that they were able to do all they did via those three incisions!

Aunt Shannon and Unkhle Paul appreciated all the GotchaVersary Wishes too!

We hope all have a great Saturday Khaturday of their purrrrrry own!

  1. What a fun post. I love watching you both snuggle up. I am surprised you allowed that cat so close that was very brave of you.

  3. geez, i was JUST visiting this blog last post like 2 minutes ago! you're fast Khyra. I think i need you to come work at Wild Dingo so you can blog and Wild Dingo manager can "work"... and you can play a lot with Wild Dingo's "lazy" staff...

k, there's like a HUGE bird in the first few photos! WTF?

and next, need I point out that you actually have something in KHOMMON with the KHAT butterscotch? yes Khyra, you have a disdain for Skwirrels! are you thinking of teamming up with a KHAT? really? the staff at Wild Dingo will need to have words about this with woo!

  7. Yuh, momma says if you are going to get serious sickies, wait as long as possible because those human vets are always thinking up better ways to take care of the people.

Just look at Master! He got a brand new lens for his cat rack surgery that was just invented a year ago (but he is still grouchy that he actually has to wait for it to heal).

  10. It seems that more than a cat is interested in the squirrel. Thank goodness it lives up on the tree.

  11. Uh, Khyra. Khats - plural - in your yard and around your tree. Is Merdie distracting you from your Khat patrols? Is Huffle wearing you down and you are actually starting to - gasp - like khats?

You could get kicked out of the Siberian Union for this. Just saying.

  12. Wow, Brofur was so close to getting that squirrel. MFT, we can't believe we are going to say this, but maybe you need to team up with Brofur and Butterscotch Morsel - together you might actually get to taste barbecued squirrel.

    Happy Khaturday, the OP Pack

  14. I kept wondering - Why isn't Khyra mentioning the bald eagle in her yard! Until I noticed (ah ha) that it wasn't moving! Tricked me!

Glad that Uncle Paulie keeps progressing. Reading it is bringing back lots of memories. Just talked with the family about what a very very hard recovery it was but how much the surgery helped me in the end. Keep reminding him of that!

  15. Belated GotchaVersary wishes to Uncle Paul & Aunt Shannon. Mommy is very cross with me. Khyra, have you ever torn up a brand new rug of your Mom's? ~Fenris

I am in the dog house for staying out all night. ~Socks

I barfed all over the living room and in Mommy's bedroom. ~Charybdis

I has been good. I hasn't done anything wrong and I don't intend to either. Thanks for showing us Butterskhotch and NewbieOneEye. ~Scylla

  19. Just thought I would stop in for a visit. Boy you two sure are big doggies. You are both so beautiful. That birdie outside is scary, he is much too big. I would be afraid that he could carry a little kitty like me away.
Look like the purrfect day for bird watching.
Keep resting and have a great weekend.

  20. I was also confused by the GIGANTIC bird that wasn't even mentioned... HAH

I kept thinking why are they worried about a little squirrel in the tree when there is a HIDEOUS, MUTANT, obviously KILLER bird right there!

  21. We knew we could rely on Butterscotch not to smile for the camera!
You may be a cat Butterscotch but you can join our gang of protesters!
Now we were worried that Nurse Merdie looked absolutely exhausted.
We think you will have to send for an agency nurse to come and take over the night shifts.
Poor Merdie is worn out and so dedicated!
    love and kisses

  33. Woooo MFT! I see woo had some squirrel patrol help in the yard there, not only a khat, but an eagle too! I am surprised the eagle did not make off with the khat! Then Mom told me it was not a real eagle like the ones that come visit me, bummer....
So did woo have fun watching the khat watching the squirrel, see, khats can be fun too!
