Tuesday Telling (Special Edition)

Mom and I were speechless (yes, a furry rare event) when we saw this award from

We khan't begin to find the words to express the emotions we are feeling. Please visit them and see the reason fur this one fur we would soooo not do them justice by attempting to explain with my paws right now!

This was SOOOO not the Tuesday Telling I had in mind BUT this one deserved a 'stop the paws and presses' fur what I was going to share soooooo pales in khomparison to this.

The Bumpass Hounds (And Kitties) have their own lukhky stories to share from all the good work they've done (and khontinue to do)! Please visit them and tell your furiends to visit them If just one khritter khan be saved by each of us, we are on the way to a home fur evfurry furry heart!

I asked Mom to pull out some pikhs of my khousin Merdie fur this postKhomfy Khozy KhousinsEach with paws khrossed fur homes to be found fur all!

Merdie is akhtually a reskhue of sorts too! Her original owners kept her outside fur the furst year of her life. One day, they decided to place an ad to find her another home. Unkhle Paul and Aunt Shannon were looking fur a furiend fur their furst Golden Lexi (Lexus) so they went to see the one we know khall Merdie (Mercedes)! Lexi khrossed befur I khame into my mom's life so I didn't have the opportunity to meet her but I will one day!

Mom was furry touched some of woo appreciated these words she pawed yesterday:

"After all, it is NOT about 'us' - it is all about the special creatures that let us into their lives and ask very little of 'us' - just that we help take care of them since they can not fend safely for themselves!"

The Bumphass Hounds (And Kitties) are evidence of that belief as well!

Mom and I have proudly added this one to our blog!

    Those who do the kind of good work that you do so many times over and over do not expect rewards. Their reward is received from the act itself. But if ever a reward was more earned and deserved, this one is it. As you say, it really isn't about "us", but the furry ones.     Plus, they live in VA, which is right next door to Md, where muzzer picked me up at my foster home, and also next door to DEESEE, where E.Rabbit lives.
