Monday MOMday

Here is the look I gave her when she got bakhkI snoofed and let her know I was proud of her
Sunday morning I napped
Napped more
She was kind enough to use the flashie beastie from inside so as to NOT disturb my slumber!

Now to let Mom take the rest of the post:

Thanks Khyra!

Here are the furry lucky Brittanies that made it out alive from NC/TN for furever lives in NH/RIBrittle on the left; Conway on the rightConwayConway on left; Sammie (the girl) on rightBrittle stealing the cool air! Conway and SammieBrittle doing some DogaConway and Sammie

Here is the link to THEIR PHOTOBUCKET OF VIDEOS (3) and PICTURES (41). I think you'll be able to see that Sammie still has her tail. It made her look more like a Border Collie. Her liver colour was very attractive. She had recently had pups so you might notice some swelling in THOSE areas!

They were very good passengers. Brittle was determined to get up front with me SO I unhooked his leash and permitted him to ride shotgun. I did explain he would be subjected to more pictures than the others - he said that was fine with him!

Seriously, it was good I did do that. He was a bit nervous (hardly ate at his overnight) and rarely settled in whilst we were on the road. I think the longest he had his eyes closed was about three seconds. I was able to pet and stroke him most of the 80 or so miles we travelled from Hagerstown MD to the overnight mid-way between Harrisburg and York.

I had actually met the overnight hosts before on a few other transports. They have two Sibes of their own so it was nice to get to meet them! They make a brief appearance in the third video. Their original Sibe entered their life by crossing their path on the road one night! Their second one came from a confiscation in Harrisburg. I was very lucky to get to experience a group howl of HELLO once they saw me in the driveway. Their original (female) Sibe has taught the new one (male) to howl instead of bark.

The hostess of the Biscuit and PJ Pawty grew up with Brittanies and this is how she gives back to the breed now!

I also had an update on Dodi. She met her foster mom along with her male Malinois and her Lab. Within 1/2 hour Dodi was settled in like she'd been there forever!

I already passed along how well Fred and his new dad hit it off!

After two action packed days, we took a day of downtime! Since I hit the road before 4pm on Saturday, we only had the opportunity for one walk. I made it up to her on Sunday!

Khyra will be back tomorrow to tell you about her Saturday treat as compensation for missing out on her walks.

She did ask I leave you with the picture Hugz&Khysses From Khyra's Khorner
