  4. Congrats on the birdie babies.

We had something in the hawk/eagle family soaring over our house today but Momma couldn't get the camera fast enough to zoom and identify what it was.

  8. What a pretty post Khyra, you know how we love pink!
We are sorry to hear it is the anniversary of your mom's friend's dad - these are always the difficult days nobody warns you about! It used to be birthdays and anniversaries - please tell her we are thinking about her.
We are off to Skye where the mountains get bigger the further north you travel. According to our mum this means all your worries get smaller! It also makes you realise we are all just passing through - for some reason this makes our mum happy!
We will take lots of pictures to show you when we come back - we will miss you and all our other dog bloggers lots and lots.
    love and kisses

  9. Isn't it lovely now that Spring is finally coming on full force?! Our trees are in bloom too! Unfortunately, the Spring rain has come too...it has been THUNDERING so loud and so often tonight that even the Ninjas haven't been able to sleep much. Not that the thunder bothers me a bit...but, I do get tired of not being able to roam around outside without getting dripped on!

  20. Wow!
Pink dogwood is so gorgous! Also white dogwood and red bud. I wonder why it's named dogwood, is dogwood our flower?
Another Wow! You have more awards than stars on the sky, congratulations, Khyra!
And please keep posting about birdies, I love to watch them.
    Love you

  21. More beautiful trees. We have some pretty redbuds too and some dogwood, but they are all white ones. The pink is much prettier. The only thing is they don't last long, especially with all the rain.

Babies popping up all over the place.

We will cross our paws for Mom's friend today - we remember when that sad thing happened.

  28. Hi Khyra,

The trees are very pretty! Mom says that one you are not sure about, might be a crab apple. The dogwoods remind her of her mother as she was from Kentucky and loved those dogwoods, especially the pink ones.

  49. Hi Khyra
Just read your bloggie. What beautiful blossoms on your trees!
We have a flowering cherry tree in our yard that is just now going to bloom. Down in the city spring had already come and gone. But out here in the wild country our spring is delayed.
It is so much fun seeing your eagle pictures . Thank you so much for sharring.
I am glad your mom gets to go back to work. My mom works too. Its hard , but it is also hard not to work,
We know how memories of even sad things can wipe us off our feet. It is so hard sometimes to go through those anniversarys of sad days,

  50. Khyra - That Oswald's a slippery little fella. We saw him down at our neighbors' the other day, scoping out their veggie garden. You KNOW he's got big plans for when that starts producing!
Mom loved the tree display! We don't get to have dogwoods here because of our stupid weather or something.
    Play bows,
